FinallyReadPrivacy Policy
The short version
- FinallyRead does not collect, sell, or share your data.
- Your profiles, settings, and progress are stored only on your device.
- There are no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting services in the app.
- FinallyRead does not use your microphone or camera.
Who we are
FinallyRead is published by Jeffrey Siler, an individual developer. Questions about this policy can be sent to finallyread@adastra-apps.com.
What stays on your device
To let you pick up where you left off, FinallyRead saves the following in the app's own storage on your device:
- the profiles you create, including any profile name you type;
- your practice history, answers, progress, and review schedule;
- your practice selections and display preferences, such as text size, contrast, and motion settings.
The app also keeps a local recovery copy of this record on the same device. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it.
What we collect
Nothing. FinallyRead has no server account and does not transmit your profiles, progress, or usage to the developer or to third parties. The app does not include advertising, analytics, attribution, session-replay, or crash-reporting software, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Backups you make yourself
You can choose to export a profile backup as a file from Options. The file contains that profile and its progress. Where the file goes is up to you: if you save it to a cloud drive, email it, or share it with another app, that destination handles the file under its own terms. We never receive a copy.
Apple and your device
Apple provides the App Store, downloads, updates, and device-level services such as iCloud device backups. Apple may process information under its own privacy policy. If you share app diagnostics with developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may pass aggregated crash information to us; that is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by the app.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual profiles inside the app. Deleting the app removes its stored data from your device. Because we do not hold a copy, we cannot restore lost progress for you. Keep your own backup if your progress matters to you.
If you contact us
If you email support, we receive your message and email address and use them only to reply. That correspondence happens outside the app.
Children
FinallyRead does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. A profile name is stored only on the device where it was typed.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of FinallyRead changes how data is handled, for example by adding optional speech features, we will update this page and the App Store privacy details before that version is released. The effective date above will change when this policy changes.
